Unless you are from Austria and Germany (strange I know, I’ll tell you why on the tour) you have seen, but certainly heard of the 1965 musical The Sound of Music starring Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer. This world famous movie was filmed in and around Salzburg in 1964. 

If you are a fan of the movie, would like to learn more about the shooting and the actors and actresses, and in addition to that hear about the real von Trapp family, whose life inspired this story, then this tour is perfect for you! 

We can sing the songs together and be Maria and the children as we hop from step to step and dance around a fountain if that has been your dream! 

We will walk through Salzburg visiting the filming locations, starting on the right side of the river, then see the scenes in the Old Town and finishing on top of a small hill with breathtaking views of the countless church steeples of the Old Town, the hills and mountains.
