Private Tours

If you like the topics of my regular tours, but prefer a tour, which only you and your partner, or family, or friends attend, then this is the right choice for you.

When you book a private tour it means you can choose between Walk my favorite things or Follow in the footsteps of Maria tours, but only you and your party will take part.

This way you can ask questions easier and I can tailor the tours a bit for your specific interests. If you have a limited time available, or you require a specific pace or a different language, please choose a private tour.

Price: 190 euros/group

Time: please choose a time that suits you best

Group size: maximum 25 people

Useful things to know:

Arrival: at least 5 minutes before the start
Please wear comfortable walking shoes.
If hot make sure you have water with you, in case it rains bring an umbrella ☺
Public toilettes are available to use during our walk, however you need a 50 cent coin to use them.

To become an official licensed tourist guide in Austria means completing a 2 year compulsory course offered by the state, then being examined for all your chosen languages, guiding on a bus and while walking, a written and oral exam covering topics from the whole course.

Once all classes are attended, all semesters and exams are passed successfully an official trade licence for guiding is issued, which enables guiding anywhere in Austria as an “Austria Guide”.
